The man needs no introduction or explanation. One half of the mighty Tenacious D, Kyle Gass has literally made history, co-invented a genre, and created a substantial body of work over the years. He's played 100's upon 100's of shows across the globe, and has often been imitated by countless weekend warrior guitarists, tribute-band wannabees, and dorm-room drunks. The thing that they're all missing is KG's immense talent and perfect timing.. well, also no one can play the flute or recorder quite like him either.

Following Tenacious D’s heights in popularity, Gass wanted to create a smaller act to tour the clubs The D used to play, and to meet fans at an intimate level. In 2002, he and friend JR Reed (Lee in Tenacious D) founded Trainwreck. Following numerous releases, music videos, and nationwide tours, Trainwreck disbanded in 2010. This led Gass to form Kyle Gass Band with Band of Bigfoot vocalist Mike Bray to front on vocals. The success of the Kyle Gass Band would see a record deal in Europe as well as seven tours across the European continent between 2014 and 2017, playing fourteen countries. Trainwreck would reform in 2018, this meaning Gass is now involved in three bands at one time.

In 2021, Gass emerged from the pandemic by topping his Instagram account up with fresh content, launching his “Vaccinated” single and founding his “Merry Band o’Broze” backing band, his first ever live solo venture, playing many rock and roll classics as well as the occasional Tenacious D and Kyle Gass Band tracks.
